WHO ARE WE?

Nik Homes, is a professional, full service real estate solutions company that buys and sells properties throughout Chicago Northshore and Northwest Suburbs. We specialize in buying distressed homes at a significant discount, and renovate and sell them to retail home buyers and landlords. Founded in 2015 by a husband and wife team Ivica and Mina Nikolic, Nik Homes is excited to be part of the area’s renaissance and we aspire to continue contributing to the economic rejuvenation of Chicago Land Area and its neighborhoods.

THE STORY OF NIK HOMES

After 6 years as a small business owner, Ivica Nikolic founder and CEO set his sights on real estate investing. He made it his mission and turned to his wife Mina, real estate agent to join him in this venture having the confidence that they could leverage their life partnership to bring success not only to their business but to all those they worked with. They thus aptly named the company NIK HOMES, short for Nikolic. Nik Homes goal is to find and sell 10 distressed properties annually to renovate and resell them to retail home buyers and landlords. In doing so, Ivica and Mina hope to help the Chicago land area community achieve success one home at the time. After all, when one succeeds all benefit.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

OVERALL INVESTMENT APPROACH

Our overall investment strategy and specialty is to purchase distressed properties at a deep discount – usually 30% to 50% below market value, and renovate and sell those properties to retail homebuyers and landlords.

At NIK HOMES, we pride ourselves on having a strong foundation of real estate knowledge and training. Our focus is on providing SOLUTIONS for homeowners and finding VALUE for our buyers and investors by locating ugly, vacant homes that are eye sores and we put them back into use after renovation.
